Dr. Harawi has been practicing in Grand Junction since 2010. He pursued his medical studies and completed an internal medicine residency at Tufts University in Boston, MA, followed by his nephrology training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Harawi holds board certifications in both internal medicine and nephrology. In addition to his medical interests, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking and growing cacti. He resides in Grand Junction with his wife and their two young sons.

Dr. Straight grew up in Delaware and attended Smith College, where she earned a degree in Government. She went on to attend Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. She completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, then pursued a nephrology fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
She enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time in nature with her teenage daughters, dogs, and husband. Her favorite part of nephrology is building long-term relationships with patients and helping them live their healthiest, best lives.
Dr. Straight is very excited to be in Grand Junction and to be part of Grand Mesa Nephrology and Community Hospital.

Wendy relocated from Denver to Grand Junction in 2018 to join our practice. She completed her Physician Assistant training in Philadelphia in 2002 and brings a diverse medical background, including experience in Gastroenterology, Urgent Care, and Primary Care—having served in an underserved borough of London, England.
Wendy, along with her faithful pup, Xander, is enjoying the change of pace on the Western Slope.
